Editorial & medical content policy
Derrick Gyno Hub publishes general women's health information to help patients understand their options and find the right doctor. It is not medical advice, and it is never a substitute for seeing a qualified doctor.
1Health Journal articles
- Every article shows who wrote it, the date it was published and, when it has been meaningfully revised, the date it was last updated.
- Articles are written in plain language for patients and carry a note that they are general information, not a diagnosis.
- An article is only credited to a doctor or reviewer who actually wrote or reviewed it.
2Medical answers on our doctor pages
Medical questions answered on our location and speciality pages are published only after a named doctor has reviewed the answer, and that doctor is credited beside it. Until then the answer is not shown.
3Ask a Doctor
Answers in Ask a Doctorcome only from verified doctors on Derrick, are published under the doctor's name and qualification, and are reviewed before publishing. Doctors are asked to give general guidance only, never a diagnosis, and to say when someone should be seen in person.
4What we do not publish
- Treatment success rates, outcome statistics or claims that one doctor is the “best”.
- Reviews or testimonials written by Derrick. Patient reviews are moderated before they appear.
- Paid placements presented as editorial content. A doctor's listing fee does not affect search order or what we write.
5Corrections
If you think something we have published is wrong or out of date, email info@derrickgynohub.com. We review every report and update or remove content that is inaccurate. See also how we verify doctors.
